The shipped lights were received in good condition by this customer. The instructions were simple and assembly was easy. I mounted these lights in my small indoor plant-starter plastic covered greenhouse using plastic wire ties. I mounted two lights each to a shelf (front and rear). When I mounted the light strips, I worried that the heat dissipated from the LED lamps would adversely affect the plastic wire ties and the plastic plant containers sitting on the shelf above. Upon testing the product over a 16-hour light cycle, I found the back side of the lights only slightly warm to the touch. Also, when I put my hand in front of the lights, I did not feel excessive heat, only soft warmth. I have been using these LED light strips on 16-hour cycle for 6-weeks and have had no problems with the power supply (I keep it cool with a fan to extend it’s life, it does not get hot, just warm). I bought a second power supply through ecogrowhawaii.com to have a spare, since the manufacturer recommends no more than 8-hours per lighted cycle. I am very happy with these lights and they are great for starting seedlings.
