Description Aspects Nectar Guard® tips easily slide onto the feeding ports on the underside of the feeder cover of SOME of the hummingbird feeders that we carry. See list below. The flexible membrane in the center of each tip easily opens when hummingbirds insert their beaks to feed and close up tight when the birds stop feeding and back away. These create a barrier that flying insects (wasps, bees, ants) can’t penetrate. The Nectar Guard Tips are specifically designed for our Aspects Hummingbird feeders and are not a one-size-fits-all item. They will not fit all hummingbird feeders.
